The presentation gives an introduction to manchesterwireless, explains the Community Wireless model, and covers what we plan to do with our funding grants.....
Just a note to confirm that manchesterwireless.net will be giving a presentation to ManLUG on Sat 17th of April (yes, that's tomorrow).
The talk will cover the both the philosophical motivations behind the community wireless model, and the technical details of how we intend to build such a network.
I'd like as many people to come along as possible - Whether you are already involved, or just interested in what manchesterwireless.net are up to, then please come along to contribute, heckle, or participate in the discussion afterwards.
The meeting will be held in the Lascelles Williams room on the ground floor of the Kilburn Building at the University of Manchester. (For more information, see ManLUG's web site: http://www.manlug.man.ac.uk, under 'How to find us'.) Please bring a 'photo ID' to show the porters if you are asked.
