Yet Another Informal Meeting at "The Three Arrows"

Rather late notice, but the usual informal group is gathering at "The Three Arrows" next Tuesday evening. The Arrows is just off the M60 by junction 19.

Newcomers and old hands are very welcome to attend.

Nothing formal is planned, there is unlikely to be active WiFi gear running, except laptops and pocket devices.

This is simply a social and educational evening.

There will be example kit around, maps and technical documentation.

The range of competency attending is invariably wide, so newcomers need not fear being completely out of their depth.

I'll not clog the blog with repeat directions, full details have been posted several times.

See here for my original directions (Drinks and Chat session Two)

And here for some additional clarifications after various people took unplanned detours via junction 19 on the M62.

If transport is an issue, help may be found by asking on the mailing list, some people come from quite far away and have been exceedingly generous in the past providing lifts.

If you plan to come, a note to the mailing list is appreciated, simply to give me some idea of numbers, and thus space to stake out in the pub. But if you can't, don't let that put you off coming, we seem to manage anyway.

We'll be in the room immediately to your right as you come in through the front door. We usually have the room to ourselves, but I put a manchesterwireless.net name card on the table as well.

Meet up at 20:00. We are there until the pub starts putting the chairs on the table usually. :)

There will be a modest (gratis) buffet sometime around 20:30 which is also about when the pub's kitchen closes if you want something more substantial.

Hope to see you there.
