Tuesday night at the Arrows

The North Manchester Wireless Posse had another gathering this week, on Tuesday, at the Three Arrows.

A couple of representatives from Warrington's broadband-blackspot were in town, and are actively seeking recruits in their quest to get broadband by 'any means neccessary'.

No signal as yet from ')( Shoka green' , but with the leaves coming down, we might have a chance next time.

Me, Andy, Ewan, and Tim engaged in a little war-driving on our way back South. Even on a Tuesday night, there were plenty of businesses broadcasting unencrypted confidential data into the streets. The most quiet part of town was Rusholme...... too much Neon perhaps?

Not the right place to post this but I'm in a rush ;-)

New WiFi frequencies have been opened up by the FCC in the US:

I wonder if Europe will follow suit?
